A very charming vintage oak low side table or stool, dating from the 1920’s-1930’s. It has bobbin-turned legs and a stretched cane top. The X stretcher base gives it the classic and sturdy 17th Century country house look influenced by Jacobean style.
I have lightly and sympathetically restored this piece of furniture and hand-polished with premium beeswax to nourish the oak grain and bring out its deep, historic patina. A perfectly sized statement piece that works beautifully as a low coffee table, a side table next to a favorite armchair, or a decorative surface for books and plants.
Please be aware this is a vintage piece of furniture and therefore carries wear in line with it being nearly a century old.
