A splendid piece of Vanity Decor. This is a 1950’s Ormolu trinket box crafted with intricate gold tone filigree metalwork. The lid is inset with a smooth white pearlised slab and centred by a classic Fragonard porcelain style medallion depicting a romantic courting couple in a garden setting. It has rococo style scroll feet and a mirror inside. A must have for collectors of French Boudoir decor.
Beautiful quality with no major damage, just a tiny amount of warping to the base of one of the feet.
